We began the week completing the "Path Driver Universal Screening" which is a computer-based assessment in both reading and math. We then continued our research in which students worked to find meaningful connections between a personal topic of interest and the hydrosphere. We finished out the week discussing different strategies that are used to get the attention of others in relation to song lyrics, public service announcements, and issue posters. Students then began to apply these strategies as they create a final group challenge project in which they "make the hydrosphere matter".
